![]() ![]() Generally speaking, if you like to get through GE via fighting, attack your neighborhood, or fight to win sectors in GvG you need this combination of buildings. These are otherwise known as the “fighting trifecta”. Statue of Zeus (Zeus), Cathedral of Aachen (COA), & Castle del Monte (CDM).This is definitely just the basics though, if you want something more in-depth, please check the comprehensive guide to GBs instead. Still, there are some GBs that can be said to be staples for certain play styles, as outlined here. Other players can give you some insight into why they did or did not build certain GBs to help you decide, but in the end it comes down to what you think will best benefit your game. More for medal, unless its one I need BPs for or of course an Alcatraz.Ultimately, the GBs you choose to build will be determined by your individual play style. I reciprocate by spending FPs on their GBs on sticks. Some just give 1 FP as their sign of cooperation. I don't spend FPs on getting my GB off sticks. Regarding investing FPs, I'm in a good guild. And need some luck in getting the 9 BPs to build it. Are there future GBs that are better than ND? No question there are. The point I am trying to make is circumstance made Lighthouse and Notre Dame a good fit. It seems another quest right after that asked for more happiness so I had to wait until I research Library to satisfy that one. ![]() I had not research the LMA cultural buildings that would have satisfied the quest and it would have taken me a lot of real estate to do otherwise. I was LMA but needed happiness to complete a quest and to improve my cities happiness since they were often unenthusiastic. I was probably long out of Iron Age but appreciated any boost to supplies and goods I could get. Lighthouse was not my first choice but the first one I got all BPs for. When you are in the early ages anything helps. Every GB has some boost that benefits the city. In my opinion, its not which GB is best, but which one comes first. ![]()
